Animal Kingdom Poster |
|
 |
In 1735, Carolus Linnaeus published the first edition of his Systema
Naturae, which set forth his system for classifying all
living things. It has since been continually revised and
expanded. In spite of its limitations and faults, the
Linnaean system is widely used in life science education.
Animal Kingdom is the first poster to provide a
comprehensive overview of the subject. It explores all of
the phyla, both existing and extinct. Each is accurately
described, and highly detailed scientific illustrations show
representational species.
