This section honors the people, who have helped to make our world
what it is today. We begin with the first inhabitants of what
is now the United States - the Native Americans, followed by a few
of our great presidents. American women have made many
contributions to our nation and they are honored in their own
section. The Famous Scientists are those who ventured into new
areas of knowledge and led us to discover the technological marvels
that now dominate our society. Many believe that Albert
Einstein was the most important person of the 20th century and he is
honored by his own section. The African-American Section
recognizes the achievements of civil rights leaders such as Martin
Luther King Jr. The musicians and composers have helped to make
our life more pleasant, so they get their own section, too.
